Hearing care, local to Dudley.
Dudley sits at the heart of the Black Country, and we cover the borough end to end. That takes in Dudley town centre and Castle Hill, Netherton, Sedgley, Upper and Lower Gornal, Coseley, Brierley Hill, Kingswinford, Quarry Bank, Cradley Heath, Halesowen and Stourbridge. A great deal of the hearing loss we see in this part of the world came from working life rather than age alone, and noise damage has a particular shape to it: the high sounds go first, so speech turns mumbly long before anything actually gets quiet. A full diagnostic test shows which you are dealing with, and whether it is noise, age, or the two together.

Dudley questions.
Very likely part of it. Years around presses, grinders, foundries or heavy plant damage the hair cells that pick up high sounds, which is why speech starts to sound mumbled before anything sounds quiet. Noise damage has a recognisable shape on a hearing chart, and a full test shows it clearly.
Yes, free. One £50 visit covers the household, so if your partner, a parent or anyone else at home wants their hearing checked while we are there, we test them too at no extra charge.
No. A home hearing test anywhere in the borough is £50, and earwax removal is £60 whether you come to us or we come to you. There is no mileage charge and no call-out fee.
Both. We bring a demo set with us and programme them to your results in the same visit, so you can hear the difference before you decide anything. If you go ahead, the fitting is done at home as well, and so is every appointment after it.
