How is EON different from the Sphere it replaces?

Same idea, smaller execution. EON keeps the dedicated second chip that separates speech from noise, but the new HYPERSONIC processor does that work on far less power. That is where the smaller shell and the longer battery come from: 25% smaller, 20% lighter, and up to 38 hours on a charge.

Which level should I choose, E90, E70 or E50?

All three share the same chip, the same shell and the same colours. What changes is how hard the speech separation is allowed to work and how finely we can shape the sound. E90 runs it without a cap and suits people whose real problem is busy places. E50 is the entry point and still a clear step up from older technology.

What is Auracast and will I use it?

It is a broadcast system that sends sound straight to your hearing aids in public places, appearing now in theatres, cinemas, stations and airports. It is genuinely useful where it exists, and the network is still growing. EON supports it, along with Roger for meetings and lectures.

Is there a version for hearing on one side only?

Yes. CROS EON R picks up sound on the side you cannot hear from and sends it across to the hearing aid on your better ear. There is also Audeo EON R, which uses the same new chip and shell without the dedicated speech separation, at a lower price.
