Hearing care, local to Tamworth.

Tamworth is a Staffordshire town about fifteen miles north-east of Birmingham, and we cover the town and the villages around it. That includes the centre and Bolehall, Kettlebrook and Glascote, Amington and Stonydelph to the east, Wilnecote and Dosthill to the south, Belgrave and Leyfields, and out to Fazeley, Polesworth and Kingsbury. Generations of Tamworth families worked in the North Warwickshire pits and in heavy engineering, and noise exposure from that work is a common thread in the hearing loss we see.

Tamworth questions.

Very possibly part of it. Years of drilling, conveyors and machinery underground damage the hair cells that pick up high sounds, which is why speech starts to sound mumbled before anything sounds quiet. Noise damage has a recognisable shape on a hearing chart, and a full test shows it clearly.

No. A home hearing test is £50, the same as everywhere else we cover, and earwax removal is £60 whether you come to the clinic or we come to you. There is no mileage charge and no call-out fee on top.

Both. We bring a demo set with us and programme them to your results in the same visit, so you can hear the difference before you decide anything. If you go ahead, the fitting is done at home as well, and so is every appointment after it.

The centre and Bolehall, Kettlebrook and Glascote, Amington and Stonydelph, Wilnecote and Dosthill, Belgrave and Leyfields, and out to Fazeley, Polesworth and Kingsbury. That is B77, B78 and B79.

No. Aftercare is included for as long as you own them, and we come to you for it exactly as we came for the fitting. It is part of the price, not charged per visit.

Yes, and it is not treated as a special favour. We visit up to 8pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and Sunday visits run between 10am and 4pm. For a lot of people that is the only time that works, so it is a normal part of what we do.
